The North Georgia Regional Tournament Competition Schedule is now available located in the tournaments section.
We will be updating the General Information for all tournaments in the next few days.
Teams with conflicts should have included this information during registration. If there is a scheduling issue, please contact us. The conflicts must be reported ASAP so the scheduler has an opportunity to adjust accordingly. No changes will be made to the schedule after the Final Schedule has been released.
GEORGIA ODYSSEY TOURNAMENT PROGRAM
Georgia Odyssey is excited to offer a new tournament program book this year. This new and improved program gives you the opportunity to purchase an ad so you can send a special message to your team or an individual. It is also a great way to promote your local business. Ads will be full color and can have a maximum of 25 words.
There are two opportunities purchase space in the program.
1. Regional Tournaments: Each ad purchased for a regional tournament will appear in all three regional programs! Ads must be purchased by February 2, 2019.
2. State Finals: Each ad purchased for state finals will be included the state finals program. Ads must be purchased by March 16, 2019.
Ads will be purchased and uploaded through the website using the link below. You can upload a fully designed ad or our talented designer can assist you in creating one.

Important Announcement Regarding the In Depth Workshop!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the session for Problem 5: Opposites Distract is cancelled for the In Depth workshop on Saturday December 1. Problem Captains Tori and Amy would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Coaches, please email any questions you have to the problem captains at email@example.com. Tori and Amy will be more than happy to assist you with any questions you have regarding the problem and the clarification process.

We are excited to be hosting the In-depth workshop this coming weekend on December 1st. The workshop will be from 1pm to about 4pm at Trickum Middle School. If you haven’t already signed up, please be sure to do so by navigating to registration –> in depth workshop and filling out the simple registration form. Please arrive early to find parking and get checked in. There will be a new coaches workshop going on in the morning that all new coaches are strongly encouraged to attend.
We hope to see everyone there! All of our problem captains are very excited to be discussing the problems with coaches and preparing teams for this season.
Please remember, absolutely no competitors or persons under the age of 18 are allowed at the in depth workshop.

The date we are having our coaches workshop for all NEW coaches is this coming Saturday, December 1st! Please come join us and experience a helpful training session of how to deal with a group of kids and guide them to a successful Odyssey season. We have lots of experienced folks ready to help guide you and your team on its journey through this experience that is Odyssey of the Mind.
We offer a training session that will go through the ins and outs of the program. The training provides in depth information into coaching, dealing with teams, understanding the basics of the program, a guide to layout the year, how a tournament day works, and other questions you might find yourself asking. We’ll be sure to have a Q&A session with the group so everyone can ask and share anything that comes up.

9am-1pm -please arrive early as we will be starting the session promptly at 9am!

To add to the excitement, in the afternoon we will the in depth workshop at the same location. This means new coaches can come in the morning to learn about helping their team on the Odyssey journey and stay for the afternoon where you can go over the rules for the specific problem your team has chosen!
