Our calendar for the seasons is just starting to come into picture and we will be adding events, dates, and locations over the next few weeks.
I wanted to take a moment and welcome you to Odyssey of the Mind 2025-2026. We are honored and excited that you have decided to join the Georgia Odyssey Journey. Our board of directors and problem captains are working hard behind the scenes to prepare for the season. This year we plan to offer two regional tournaments in addition to a selection of coaches trainings for adults and spontaneous workshops for kids, and a state finals. In Georgia, teams may compete at the regional tournament that makes sense to them.
Please keep an eye on our website www.georgiaodyssey.org and our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates and announcements. To help you prepare for the season, you can check out the international website www.odysseyofthemind.com and our Georgia website for details and hints. You can download the full long term problems from the Member Resources area of the Teams tab of the Odyssey of the Mind website. We plan to open tournament registration in mid September. Our webmaster, Tommy Carroll will post easy to follow directions on the Georgia site.
We are currently seeking pin designs. Pin trading is a big deal in Odyssey of the Mind. Pin design submissions are due by September 19. Designs can either be emailed to me at lisa@georgiaodyssey.org or mailed to Georgia Odyssey of the Mind, 1216 W. Lakeshore Dr., Dalton, GA, 30720. Please include contact information for the designer as we want to make sure they are honored for their design if selected.
